Kingston Cavaliers Basketball Club

This club was founded in 1999 by Dr. Tom Holmes. The goal of the club is to develop the basketball skills of young people in a fun yet competitive environment. The club is a member of Basketball Ontario is based out of Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School.

Kingston Kobras

Dr. Holmes has coached and managed fastball for the Kingston Kobras for the past ten years.

Loughborough Fastball League

This league is one of the most competitive Men's fastball leagues in Ontario. The Cataraqui Dental Centre has been a sponsor of the Kingston Cowboys for many years.

Kingston Frontenacs

The Kingston Frontenacs are a major junior A hockey team, playing in the Ontario Hockey League. The Cataraqui Dental Centre has volunteered their services to the team since 1986.

Holy Cross Secondary School

The Cataraqui Dental Centre has been a large supporter of the Holy Cross Athletic program, from making mouthguards for the rugby and basketball teams to sponsoring the very successful cheerleading team.

The Salvation Army

The Cataraqui Dental Centre helps support the Salvation Army contribute to the City of Kingston. Dr. Holmes served for 10 years on the Salvation Army Advisory Board

The Chamber of Commerce

The Cataraqui Dental centre has been a member of the Chamber since 1986.

The Dental Treatment Assistance Fund

This fund is run through the Kingston Health Unit (Dr. Bob Bowes) and provides emergency funding for dental treatment. The Cataraqui Dental Centre is an original and ongoing supporter of this fund.

Kingston Curling Club

Dr. Gord Lansdown has been an active member of one of the oldest curling clubs in Canada since 1986.

Ontario Dentists Curling Association

Dr. Lansdown (with a little help From Dr. Holmes) has helped deliver the Annual Ontario Dental bonspiel to Kingston twice within the last ten years.

Ontario Dental Association & Canadian Dental Association

Both Dr. Lansdown and Dr. Holmes are 20+ year members  of these valuable institutions.

Kingston Wingdocs

Drs. Lansdown, McDougall and Holmes are founding members of this culinary group that takes the time to test and rate chicken wings from Kingston and around the world (Buffalo, NY).
