Meet Dr. Nesbitt

Dr. Karen Nesbitt is fulfilled each day when she goes out into the world and makes a difference, however small, in people’s lives. She is passionate about providing the best possible care to patients and helping them to understand why dental care has value for them as an individual. Dr. Nesbitt enjoys getting to know patients and building a long-term relationship with them. The friendships she’s created over the years have inspired her to work hard and be creative in all she does.

Education and Continuing Education

Dr. Nesbitt earned her Bachelor of Science in life sciences from Queen’s University, and continued on there to earn her Master of Science in physiology. She attended McGill University for her dental education, and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Because Dr. Nesbitt believes it is important to stay current with dental advancements, especially with changing technologies and newer and better materials, she continues her education on a regular basis through webinars, seminars, conventions, and independent study.

Outside the Office

Dr. Nesbitt is originally from the Ottawa area, and now resides in Mallorytown. Her home is filled with between four and five show dogs at any given time, since the care, breeding, and showing of purebred dogs is her passion outside the office. Dr. Nesbitt also enjoys reading and doing crafts.
